Foodbank Team Member: Assist with the set-up and operation of Gateway Panet’s foodbank on Saturday mornings. This involves sorting and arranging the groceries on tables and cheerfully instructing foodbank clients regarding the quantities they can choose for themselves. For some, it can involve helping people to carry groceries to their car.
For more information, please contact Trudy Turner.

Gateway KIDS Ministry Greeter: These friendly people serve in the foyer on Sunday mornings while parents are registering their children for KIDS Ministry classes. Greeters are trained to assist parents with the electronic check-in kiosks and can trouble-shoot when needed. They also welcome guest families and assist them in registering their children and finding the correct classrooms.
For more information, please contact Fiona Peters.

Greeters: As people arrive at Gateway on Sundays, it’s encouraging to offer them a cheerful hello and a warm handshake as they enter the building. For guests unfamiliar with our building, it can even be reassuring. This is the first point of contact that guests have as they visit Gateway, and we want it to be a good first impression.
For more information, please contact Heather Nolan.

Multi-Media Prep: This person works together with the Panet Administrator to create multi-media slides that will be used during the Sunday morning announcements, at Prayer Summits and at various leadership meetings. The person in this role needs to know or learn how to work with PowerPoint and ProPresenter.
For more information, please contact Heather Nolan.

Multi-Media Team: The Multi-Media Team is an essential part of our Sunday services and meetings, as we believe it’s a benefit for people to be able to see images that correspond with what is being said from the podium. Ensuring that the prepared slides are shown on the screen at the appropriate time during the worship and announcements and sermon is helpful to everyone present.
For more information, please contact Heather Nolan.

Noah’s Ark Hallway Monitors: These are people with administrative gifting who serve once a month on Sunday mornings greeting and registering Noah’s Ark guests, monitoring hallways and classrooms, and providing administrative support to Noah’s Ark teachers and small group leaders.
For more information, please contact Lucy Todd.

Noah’s Ark Small Group Leader: Assists the Large Group Leader on Sunday mornings in maintaining a safe and fun environment in the 3-5 year olds class. Helps the children to participate in the day’s lesson and then leads a small group of 5-7 children in small group follow-up activities.
For more information, please contact Lucy Todd.

Safety Team: Those on this team take turns serving on Sundays, doing rounds inside the building and parking lot during a Sunday service. Stationed primarily in the main foyer and wearing a headset, team members are able to communicate with the Sunday Service Administrator if they see a potential or actual problem. The role of the Safety Team is not to physically confront anyone, but to be the eyes and ears in and around the building. Our best Sundays are when the Safety Team has a quiet morning!

Special Event Hospitality Team: Throughout the year, Gateway Panet hosts events that involve hospitality in the way of snacks and/or meals. Often it’s the meals that are provided at an event that make people attending feel valued and cared for. This team works together to ensure that all the details related to hospitality at an event are looked after. This would include tasks such as shopping for items, overseeing or being a part of a kitchen team, preparing snacks or meals, and cleaning the kitchen.
For more information, please contact Heather Nolan.

Sunday Respite: Helping parents who have children with special needs by spending time with the child during the first half of the service. The demands of having a special needs child can be quite tiring, and requires one parent to always be occupied by the child on a Sunday. This ministry provides these parents with the break they need so as to worship together as parents.

Sunday Service Hospitality: People love their coffee. And having the opportunity to linger and mingle with a cup of coffee is even better! We believe making refreshments available helps to facilitate a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at Gateway Panet, and you can help to set that atmosphere. Being a part of this team, you would be scheduled with one other person approximately once a month to prepare and serve coffee and tea between the church services (or following the service during the seasons in which we have one service).

Transformation Team: Saturdays: Every Saturday, there is a great deal to do as we prepare for the Sunday morning meetings. The primary way that the Set-up Team helps with that preparation is by helping to set up the Children’s Ministry areas. Children’s Ministry set-up happens on Saturday afternoons, and is coordinated by the Children’s Ministry Pastor.
For more information, please contact Fiona Peters.

Transformation Team: Sundays: Following the Sunday morning service, this team works with the Children’s Ministry Pastor to help clean up the children’s ministry rooms, and take down the banners and tables in the gym so that our janitorial team can begin cleaning and setting up classrooms for the school week ahead.
For more information, please contact Fiona Peters.

Ushers: Warmly welcome people as they enter the auditorium on Sunday mornings. This is more than distributing bulletins or helping people find chairs once the room begins filling up. Being an usher is an important opportunity to make sure that each person who arrives at Gateway knows that we are very glad they’re with us!

Welcome Cart Team Members: We want to be sure to connect with every first-time visitor who visits Gateway Panet on a Sunday. Many of the people we do connect with leave us with their contact info and ask how they can know more about Gateway or ask how they can join a small group. The Welcome Cart is a place for friendly people eager to connect with people who are in various places on their spiritual journey, some having given their lives to Jesus on the morning they visited Gateway!
